Ladies, read this. I think it would be pretty useful in figuring out relationships. The men should probably read it as well.

Busy, busy weekend...so let's start from the most recent happenings and work our way back, shall we?

Brought the parentals to the airport this evening, as they're headed to the Philippines. My cousin is getting married and they're going to be sponsors at the wedding. Although, last I heard, neither my cousin nor his bride-to-be had the blessings of their parents. I just hope my folks haven't gotten themselves into the middle of a Shakesperean tragedy. Now, is it just me, or do Filipino parents always say when they're going to retire, they're going to go back to the PI and live like royalty, have maids, drivers, and vans with air con. Why? I ask. You want to go back to all that corruption, risk getting kidnapped and held for ransom, the heat, the humidity, the poverty? Just send some money back.

Well, yesterday. I woke up late and wasn't able to see Chris paddle the rock. Sorry man, next time. I did hit up Gingiss and rented the tux for my friend's wedding next week. Supposedly, it's gonna make me look like Jet Li, says my brother. Afterwards, headed to Hawaiian Drive-In for a late lunch, and then watched Goldmember with DPC and Cat. It was funny, especially the beginning, although alot of the jokes were recycled. But I'm sure it's going it make enough money to warrant another sequel. Went to Cal Trans pad and chilled afterwards, and of course had to watch The Boondock Saints again. I never get tired of it. It's such a cult hit. I wonder if the soon-to-be filmed sequel will be released in theaters? I'd be surprised, because unless it's a known commodity, this would go straight to video. Got home really late since the Marsh Road corridor to the Dumbarton was closed at Willow Rd, I had to detour through Menlo Park and cutoff at University. Was finally able to get some shut eye at 3 AM. *Whew*

"Can't we have anything nice in Daly City without people trying to mess things up?" - In reference to vandalism at the Century 20 Theaters in Daly City, to no one in particular.

Saturday was all about Arena Football and the San Jose Sabercats with Miss Rianne, Malou, and Joey. Fun stuff. It was a playoff game, and the 'Cats were division champs at 13-1. They pulled off the victory 55-48 win over Tampa Bay to advance to the semis. Naturally, Joey and I were checking out the cheerleaders, the Saberkittens. They sure had some hotties. =) As for just saying no to crack, I don't know what Joey's talking about. I was reading my magazine. And I now know Malou likes cotton candy...and popcorn..and nachos...and hotdogs. For a woman with such a small frame, she can put it away! BTW, thanks Joey for hooking it up with the tix.

"I don't know about you, but I was reading my magazine." -Just say no to crack at the San Jose Arena

Finally, my thoughts and prayers go out to Chick Hearn. The great voice of the Los Angeles Lakers passed away today. ''You can put this one in the refrigerator. The door's closed, the light's out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard and the Jell-O is jiggling." Rest In Peace, Mr. Hearn.
