Say it isn't so, Joe, say it isn't so. If this happens, baseball will be scarred for eternity.

Sorry...been blog lazy the past few days. The weekend was busy. Saturday consisted of waking up way too early (7 AM) to help setup the reception hall for my friend's wedding. Then got upgraded from usher to groomsman because the other guy couldn't make it. I was happy to oblige, gotta be there for your boys, you know. It was a reunion of sorts this weekend. Half Moon Bay isn't exactly a mecca for Filipinos, but the few of us there were were pretty tight, even though I haven't seen some of the guys for years (since junior high/high school, even). The weather was gorgeous, the reception was good (got a chance to practice some public speaking), the food was delicious. My boy's a chef at the Ritz-Carlton HMB (Yes, THAT Ritz-Carlton) and he's served numerous athletes and celebrities. So you know his spread had to be good.

Even though I was bone tired, I still made it to Rianne's for her housewarming that night. Of course, by then, most people had gone but the hardcores were still there and F-ed up (like F-ed Up Malt Liquor Beer). I swear I coulda passed out. But I played several rounds of pusoy with Paul, Deano and Cat. Yes, I suck at card games. And I can't shuffle to save my life, but I hd a good time. Eventually made it home and slept till like 2 PM the next day.

Two more weeks till Johnny D's wedding. Man, this just never ends. And well, work is work. Projects are coming in a flurry. I just want a vacation. Maybe Mexico. Anyone game? No need to pay for accomodations, because I have that covered. Let's see who takes the bait...Ciao.
