The House That Drew Built

Reliving past glories

Tonight, my youngest brother Charles graduated from high school, Half Moon Bay High, to be exact. The same hallowed halls that I and my other brother Frank, graduated from. It's funny, the school hasn't changed too much in the past, oh, 13 years. Still on the hill overlooking the Pacific, and the track that I used to run and train on is still dirt. There's a few new things, however. Old fields have been turned to parking lots, a new Art and Science building sits on the grass above the football field, and in the gym.... championship banners. For all the sports. Including the greatest cross country team in the state. League champions practically every year, numerous section championships. Damn, we were like the Yankees of running. All four years I was there, we won some kind of title. Those were the days...hah...well, enough of tooting my own horn. Oh, and the fog is still there. Like it never left...
