Merry Christmas everybody. I hope we all come to know the true meaning of the season. Thanks to everyone that has stopped by here on a semi-regular basis.

Good reads

Have had a bunch of time to do some reading. Winter is a good season to curl up with a good book. The The Da Vinci Code is an exciting read. Of course, it blew up and everybody seems to be talking about it. Here are some other books that I am now reading or have read:

A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. It's a book about answers to science's biggest and most consequential questions. Brings science to the everyday person.

A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton G. Malkiel. Want to invest your money wisely and successfully? This book will help you start.

The Silmarillion by J.R.R Tolkien. This book predates the Lord of The Rings. And it sheds light on a great many parts of the LOTR that would otherwise leave readers scrataching their heads. An excellent backstory.

Reading...it can expand the mind...and is one of my favorite pasttimes.
