The House That Drew Built

Things I learned to hate during my trip to LA

1. McDonald's new theme sung by Justin Timberlake "I'm lovin' it!" Sorry, JT, but America isn't gonna be lovin' 600 calorie burgers when we're all becoming overweight.

2. That "Milkshake" song by Kelis. Why? When you hear it enough times, it starts to grate.

3. Slow drivers on the left lane on Interstate 5. This is why they have signs that say "Slower Drivers Keep Right." They obviously can't read either.

Happy New Year, ever'body. I've been in L.A. (Glendale, to be exact) since last week, took a little roadie with Dean and Anthong for Ben and Nars' housewarming slash birthday party for Margie. Only in L.A. can the weather be 80 degrees in the middle of January as women wear short shorts and tank tops. *Sigh* Anyway, the trip was a welcome respite from the humdrum of being unemployed. It was good to see everyone again. Ben and Nars have a real nice place, though the hallways of their complex are SCARY. Like something out of "The Shining." Sidenote: Mario Kart: Double Dash is just another form of electronic crack.
